The tail is 19mm long so you an adjust the distance you want the reducer to stick out of the base of the valve, making it easier to fit to your pipework. These valve reducers will convert any 15mm valve to allow you to use 8mm pipework, and because it's Nickel plated you won't see any copper olives sticking out of the bottom of the valve.
